Theresa D. Grinstead
Theresa Darrell Grinstead was born on February 2, in Houston Texas to Ernest Washington and Orish B. Washington to that Union she was the eldest of 11 Children. As a shy but intelligent child, she received her education in the Houston area schools and devoted her life to Christ at an early age at New Community Missionary Baptist Church.
In she united in marriage to Melvin Corsey, who proceeded her in death. To this union 4 children were born: Gregory Corsey, Andrea Randolph, Deveyous Corsey and Shonett Corsey. In Theresa united with the love of her life Carlton Grinstead and to this union 3 children were born LeMisha Fields, Orish and Irish Grinstead. Theresa cherished her children and loved them all with unwavering devotion.
Theresa worked for the city of Houston as a typist and was promoted to being the assistant to mayor, Kathy Whitmire. She later continued her education, receiving her associate degree from Bryman School of Medicine and began her career in
