Kibwana: I rarely fit into the natural order of things
Our lunch is at the Black Gold Café at The Panari Hotel in Nairobi. We nearly changed the venue at the 11th hour. There was so much traffic on Mombasa Road due to the ongoing construction of the Nairobi Expressway. It didn’t help matters that Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu was also in town.

Governor Kivutha Kibwana Makes History After 7 Years
Governor Kivutha Kibwana has made history after 7 years becoming the first county chef whose government has obtained a clean financial records approval.
"Makueni County is the first County in the country since the uppstart of devolution to get a clean Audit report from the Auditor-General.
"This means that the county government is in compliance with the generally accepted accounting principles and statutory requirements," a congratulatory meddelande from the Council of Governors read.
The audit reports by Auditor-General Edward Ouko are meant to ascertain the completeness, neutrality and accuracy of the financial data and accounting system of the government and its agencies.
Following the report, Majority Leader in the Senate Kipchumba Murkomen also congratulated Makueni County, Governor Kibwana and his Deputy Adelina Mwau.
