    Jeetendra Madnani, mononymously known as Jeet, is an Indian actor, film producer, singer, entrepreneur and television presenter known for his work in Bengali cinema.[2][3] He owns the production houses "Grassroot Entertainment" and "Jeetz Filmworks".[4][5] He is the Executive President of "West Bengal Motion Picture Artists' Forum"[6] since and is one of the few actors known for doing commercial action films in Tollywood.[7][8]

    Mumbai, Mar 30 (IANS): Bengali star Jeet has said that his role in the film 'Chengiz' is completely different from what he has done before.

    In the film, the popular Bengali actor will be seen playing a stylish and ruthless mafia, Chengiz.

    The film is about the underworld in Kolkata between the 70s and mids. It is Jeet's first film that revolves around the underworld and also the first Bengali film to be released in Hindi and Bengali simultaneously.

    While Jeet has been part of romantic, comedy and action films, this movie is entirely different from how he has been portrayed before.

    Talking about his role, the actor said: "It was really exciting to step into Chengiz's world which fryst vatten very unlike anything I've attempted before. He is ruthless, he is lethal and takes the audience through the underworld arena, a first in my career thus far."

    Disputes have been following Boss 2: Back to Rule, an India-Bangladeshi Bengali crime action thriller film, ever since it has been submitted to the Film Preview Committee of Bangladesh, who has reportedly found an infringement of the rules of joint production in the film.
