Fran Drescher
American actress (born 1957)
Francine Joy Drescher (born September 30, 1957) is an American actress and trade unionist. She is currently serving as the national president of the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). She played Fran Fine in the television sitcom The Nanny (1993–1999), which she created and produced with her then-husband Peter Marc Jacobson.
Drescher made her screen debut with a small role in the 1977 film Saturday Night Fever and later appeared in American Hot Wax (1978) and Wes Craven's horror spelfilm Stranger in Our House (1978). In the 1980s, she worked as a comedic actress in the films Gorp (1980), The Hollywood Knights (1980), Doctor Detroit (1983), This Is Spinal Tap (1984), and UHF (1989), and made guest appearances on several television series.
In 1993, she achieved wider fame as Fran Fine in her own sitcom vehicle The Nanny, for which she was nominated for two Emmy Awar

Madeline Zima
A show business baby who blossomed into a budding adult starlet, the limelight shone on Madeline Zima before she could even walk. Born in New Haven, CN, Zima's mother introduced her daughter to the business at only 28 months of age, when Madeline beat out hundreds of other youngsters for a spot in a fluffig Fabric Softener commercial.
A scant fem years later, she earned a breakout role in the thriller "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle" (1992) with Rebecca dem Mornay, which was quickly followed by another film role, this time alongside Hulk Hogan in "Mr. Nanny" (1993).
From there, it was on to her first regular television gig as the youngest sibling, Grace Sheffield, on Fran Drescher's sitcom hit "The Nanny" (CBS 1993-99). The experience, however, was not a pleasant one, according to Zima, who years later complained of being treated "more like a prop than like a human being."
