Mrs. Miriam C. (Lucey) Martin, of Burlington, formerly of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 19th She was 91 years of age.

Miriam was born in Cambridge on September 4, a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Bertha (McKenny) Lucey. Raised and educated in Cambridge she attended Cambridge High and Latin. She married Lawrence T. Martin on September 9, in Saint Mary’s Church. Residents of Cambridge, Malden and over twenty-four years in Stoneham before moving to Burlington in

For many years Miriam provided daycare in her home. She was involved in the foster care system, fostering numerous children. Before retiring Miriam worked as a para professional in the Malden School System.

Her hobbies include camping, singing with the Belaires at the Belmont Senior Center and attending shows when Larry sang with the Singing Grandpops of Arlington.
