    Catherine Anne CoxAM (born 24 May ) is a former Australian netball international and current netball commentator and podcaster . Between and , she made senior appearances for Australia. She was a prominent member of the Australia teams that won gold medals at the Commonwealth Games and the and World Netball Championships. She was also a member of the Australia teams that won silver medals at the World Netball Championships and the and Commonwealth Games. Cox captained Australia on seven occasions, including when they won the Constellation Cup.

    During the Commonwealth finansinstitut Trophy era, Cox played for Sydney Swifts. She was a member of Swifts teams that won premierships in , and Between and , she captained New South Wales Swifts, including when they won the inaugural ANZ Championship. During her playing career, she also captained Perth Orioles and West Coast Fever. In her final season as a player, Cox won a fifth premiersh

    Catherine Cox AM was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in as an Athlete Member for her contribution to the sport of netball.

    Catherine Cox was one of the most decorated netballers of her generation, with her goal-shooting prowess and leadership qualities playing a key role in Australia’s successes of the era.

    She represented the national team across 16 years, with senior appearances from to , and she was captain of the side on seven occasions.

    Among the haul of medals Cox won in her time as a member of the Australian team were gold medals at the Commonwealth Games and the and World Netball Championships. She was also a member of silver medal-winning teams at the and Commonwealth Games and the World Netball Championships.

    She also played more than games in the national league, playing for the Sydney and New South Wales Swifts, Perth Orioles, West Coast Fever and Melbourne Vixens.

    Catherine Anne Cox (born 24 May in Whangarei, New Zealand) is an Australian netball player. She made her international debut in at age 21 against South Africa and played regularly for the Australian national team. Cox is one of the only four players with more than test matches. Born in New Zealand, she moved to Australia with her family when she was only six. She started playing netball at the age of 11 at the Hills District Netball Association in New South Wales and by , she represented New South Wales at under 17 level.
